Countertop Island Support Bracket
For heavy countertops like quartz, granite, or butcher-block; the In-Wall Island Support is a perfect choice of support since the installation of these brackets does not need knee walls. This product makes the countertop directly extend off the cabinets.

The finished product can be seen in the image below. It has a 12-inch overhang located on three sides. It’s unlike the usual process of using giant corbels to support overhangs.
In the next image, you can see the cabinets where the Island Brackets are installed. It’s actually very easy to install this product. You just need to first cut a 2 ½ inch by ½ inch slot in front of the cabinets where the brackets can be set aside. Next, the support brackets will be attached to the cabinet by using two screws and a small flange. You don’t have to worry the flange’s interference with the doors and drawers since it’s short enough.
The patented Island Extension Brackets are created in order to provide support to the ends. This wonderful product can also be modified in order to create an overhang located on all fours sides of an island.
